IDST 111 - Pre-Nursing Seminar
Semester Hours: One
This course will assist pre-nursing students in learning strategies for creating greater academic, professional, and personal success. Specific attention will be given to exploring the profession of nursing, academic integrity, goal setting, time management, critical thinking and communicating with others. Consideration will be given to test-taking strategies, professional writing, wellness and stress management, and an overview of campus resources. This course is required for all pre-nursing majors entering as first time freshmen and meets the Collegiate Seminar requirement for nursing students. Honors students are exempt and will instead take HONR 111 .
