MATH 133 - College Algebra (MOTR MATH 130)


Term Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
This course is a detailed study of functions and their graphs. Graphing calculators are used extensively. Topics covered include linear and quadratic equations, inequalities, polynomial and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic equations, and systems of equations.
Semester Hours: Three

Prerequisite(s): High school plane geometry and two years of high school algebra and an ACT Math score of 19 or higher, MATH 113 , a satisfactory score on a mathematics placement test, or consent of the instructor.
