PSHU 423 - Introduction to the Principles of Applied Behavior Analysis Semester Hours: Three This course provides the student with an introduction to the concepts and principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, the science of human behavior. ABA involves the principles of learning theory and is centered on improving social significant behaviors to a meaningful degree. Students will identify and use appropriate observational methods based on individual cases, assess human behavior using functional assessment procedures, emotional, social, and personality changes during these progressive phases of the development process.
