BIOL 433A/533A - Immunology Semester Hours: Three This course explores fundamental concepts of the immune system for host defense, normal physiology, and pathogenesis of selected diseases and clinical situations. Attention is given to major immune components, including innate and adaptive arms, immune cell populations, and immune system mediators. Use of scientific literature and case studies will reinforce classroom content. Students taking this course for graduate credit must complete all graduate course requirements.
