EDAD 743 - Advanced Strategic Planning Semester Hours: Three This course focuses on the application of theory and organizational analysis to the strategic planning process. A variety of planning models and processes used by a large number of organizations will be introduced. One focus of this course will be to analyze and then reanalyze situations using a variety of theories and frames. Through the use of technological applications, applied research, and case studies, students will learn how to plan strategically, make ethical and moral decisions, build a collaborative culture, and manage the change process in an educational setting so that student achievement goals are met. Case study analysis and field research will serve as essential components in this course. This course cannot be taken as a directed study.
