BCHM 441 - Biochemistry I Laboratory
Term Offered: Fall
This laboratory introduces students to modern biochemical techniques. Focus is given to characterization of amino acids, proteins, and lipids as well as protein isolation, enzyme activity, protein quantification, gel electrophoresis, buffers, and chromatography. Labs will meet for two hours per week for one credit hour.
Note: This laboratory can only be taken for credit apart from BCHM 443 with consent of the instructor and the student’s advisor.
