SCED 5163 - Counseling Skills and Techniques Semester Hours: Three This course provides new counselor education students with an introduction to basic counseling techniques and skills. Topics addressed during this course include attending behavior, core conditions of counseling, counseling microskills, and other necessary skills needed in conducting a counseling session. This course cannot be taken as a directed study or credit for prior learning portfolio. Term Offered: Fall, Spring
