BIOL 401 - Integrating Concepts of Biology Term Offered: Spring Semester Hours: One This capstone course will serve to tie upper division biology courses together and provide a succinct review of major biological principles. This course is designed to serve as a preparatory tool for students intending to sit for biological assessment exams and/or admission exams for professional programs such as the MoCA or the GRE subject area exam. The course will meet one hour per week and will address the integration of core concepts covered in Genetics, Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology I & II, Cell Biology, General Biology and Bioethics. Prerequisite(s): Senior standing and the following courses or written consent of the instructor: BIOL 111 and BIOL 113 , BIOL 213 and BIOL 211 , BIOL 223 and BIOL 221 , ENVS 323 , BIOL 343 and BIOL 341 , BIOL 373 and BIOL 371 , BIOL 423 , and BIOT 323 .
