BUSN 110 - Professional Development I - Foundations of Career Readiness Term Offered: Fall Semester Hours: Zero This introductory course equips first-year business majors with foundational career preparation skills. Students will explore different industries, the kinds of business careers in those industries, develop their professional resume and cover letter, build a LinkedIn profile, and train and cultivate self-awareness from a Biblical perspective. The course introduces a professional portfolio that students will carry through the three course Professional Development sequence, documenting artifacts, skills, reflections, and outcomes. Emphasis is placed on professionalism, clarity, and consistency across written, digital, and interpersonal communication. Note: This is a Robert W. Plaster College of Business & Entrepreneurship gateway course: A grade of CR is required for this course with the opportunity to repeat the course once to achieve the minimum grade. This course is required to graduate for all Robert W. Plaster College of Business & Entrepreneurship majors. A fee is charged for this course.
