COUN 5010 - Counseling Residency I Term Offered: Summer Semester Hours: Zero This required two-day, in-person residency provides Clinical Mental Health Counseling students with faculty-guided experiential learning focused on the development of foundational counseling
skills and professional dispositions. Through structured activities, skill demonstrations, and simulated counseling experiences, students receive direct feedback and assessment to support
readiness for practicum and field experiences. This residency is required to meet CACREP in-person training requirements and must be successfully completed for program progression. There
is a course fee charged for this course. Note: Note: This course must be completed in person and cannot be taken as a directed study, credit for prior learning portfolio, or web-based course.
