COUN 5373 - Supervision and Consultation Semester Hours: THREE This course provides an overview of the theories, concepts, and research on clinical supervision and consultation including models, approaches, techniques, and ethical and legal considerations. Emphasis will be given to the supervisory relationship and processes for individual, triadic, and group supervision. Students will have the opportunity to practice both the supervisor and the supervisee roles through clinical role play activities guided by the instructor. Prerequisites for School only: COUN 5113, 5121, 5122, 5123, 5133, 5211, 5212, 5213. Prerequisites for School with CMHC Concentration: COUN 5113, 5121, 5122, 5123, 5133, 5203, 5211, 5212, 5213. Prerequisites for CMHC: COUN 5103, 5113, 5121, 5122, 5133, 5203, 5211, 5212. This course cannot be taken as a directed study, credit for prior learning portfolio, or as a web-based class.
