Music Major Core
All persons majoring in any music field must complete the following core: Required Music Theory (MUTH) Courses

8 semesters of credit required (7 semesters for Music Education): Business Core
The student must complete 21 hours, plus one of the following music performance concentrations. Note(s)
1 Satisfies 6 of the 9 hours in the Social and Behavioral Sciences general education requirements ELECTIVE (ONE COURSE FROM THE FOLLOWING)

- A grade of D is not acceptable in courses taken to fulfill the requirements for a major or minor

Requirements for degree conferral: -
At least 24 of the last 32 hours taken at Missouri Baptist University -
Cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 on a 4.00 scale (those seeking certification must achieve a GPA of 2.75) -
At least 42 hours of Upper Division (54 for a dual degree) -
At least 120 total credit hours (144 for a dual degree) |
