COUN 5383 - School Counseling Internship I
Semester Hours: Three
This course consists of 300 clock hours of supervised counseling experiences at the student’s designated “Major Emphasis” area (elementary or secondary). Students will also attend weekly internship classes for an entire semester, either in-person or livestream, with other internship students. Students will critique video recordings of their counseling sessions to enhance their counseling skills and techniques.
Note: CPT form required for F-1 international students. There is a course specific fee charged for this course. This course is limited to 12 students maximum.
Prerequisites(s): Prerequisites for School (Traditional and Licensure Track): COUN 5113 , COUN 5123 , COUN 5133 , COUN 5163 , COUN 5213 , COUN 5223 , COUN 5253 and COUN 5283 .
