ACCT 423 - Current Topics in Financial Accounting and Reporting Semester Hours: Three In this course students examine current issues in financial accounting and reporting. Issues are examined within the framework of generally accepted accounting principles for valuation, presentation and disclosure of items in financial statements. The course emphasizes the application of the Financial Accounting Standards Board and AICPA pronouncements. Term Offered: Spring, Odd Years
Prerequisite: ACCT 323 Note: This course helps fulfill the 150- hour requirement for students who plan to sit for the CPA exam.
