MATH 133 - College Algebra Semester Hours: Three This course is a detailed study of functions and their graphs. Graphing calculators are used extensively. Topics covered include linear and quadratic equations, inequalities, polynomial and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic equations, and systems of equations. Term Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
Prerequisites: High school plane geometry and two years of high school algebra and an ACT Math score of 19 or higher, MATH 113 , a satisfactory score on a mathematics placement test, or consent of the instructor.
