BUIB 471-476 - Business Internship in Business Administration Semester Hours: One to Six The purpose of this course is to provide interested business administration students the opportunity to acquire marketable skills and knowledge. The course will expose students to real world experiences in order to help them gain a clear perspective of their career choice. This course has an additional per credit hour processing fee. (Please see the “University Fees and Financial Information” section of the University Catalog and then the “Course Specific Fees” section.) Term Offered: On Demand Prerequisites: Sophomore standing or better; must have successfully completed coursework in business administration. Variable credit, not to exceed a total of six hours. Students interested in setting-up an internship must contact their advisor well in advance of the required 30 day prior approval deadline. In working with the advisor, all materials must be completed and receive final approval no later than 30 days prior to the first day of any University scheduled eight week or fifteen week term. Prerequisites: Sophomore standing or better; must have successfully completed coursework in business administration. Variable credit; may be taken twice in two different field settings, not to exceed a total of six hours.
