CBIB 113 - Old Testament History Semester Hours: Three A survey of the Old Testament in historical sequence, with attention given to the most significant events in the experiences of the people of God, from the beginning to the close of the Old Testament. The non narrative literature, including poetry, wisdom, prophets, and apocalypse, is also studied in historical perspective. Attention is given to the distinctive characteristics of each type of literature. This course meets part of the baccalaureate degree requirement in Humanities. Term Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
