EDGE 203 - Introduction to World Geography (MOTR GEOG 101) Semester Hours: Three This is a multicultural, cross-disciplinary course designed to provide a comprehensive view of the ever-changing world. Students will utilize physical and cultural perspectives to examine people, places, and environments at local, regional, national, and international levels. The influence of geography on the events of the past and present will be explored, with the emphasis on contemporary issues. Students will examine historical and modern societies as the basis for learning and mastering specific concepts related to culture, government, economics, religion, and language.
