IDST 111 - Nursing Seminar
Semester Hours: One
This course will assist nursing majors in learning strategies for creating greater academic, professional, and personal success. Specific attention will be given to exploring the profession of nursing, academic integrity, goal setting, time management, critical thinking and communicating with others. Consideration will be given to test-taking strategies, professional writing, wellness and stress management, and an overview of campus resources. This course is required for all nursing majors entering as first-time freshmen and meets the IDST 101 requirement for nursing students. Honors students are exempt and will instead take HONR 111 .
Term Offered: Fall
Acceptance into the nursing program is required for enrollment in this class.
