BUSN 303 - Business Ethics and Professional Integrity


Term Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
The study of how belief systems impact personal decisions, interpersonal relationships, and communication in the business environment. The focus is on how beliefs impact interpersonal behavior to better understand the importance of following universally agreed upon standards of business etiquette. Topics include ethical concepts, personal integrity, individual conscience, company loyalty, business communication, and responsibility conflicts as they impact the decision process in the functional areas of business. The use of case studies and experiential exercises will be used to understand ethical decision making and the resulting positive or negative consequences of choices in business decisions. Students will also learn key resume writing and interviewing skills.
