EDST 473/573 - Methods of Teaching Speech and Theatre for Middle/Secondary: Seminar and Field Experience Term Offered: Fall, Even Years This course concentrates on the principles, techniques, and problems unique to teaching speech and theatre. Unit and course plans, designed to meet the needs of diverse middle and secondary school learners, are developed for all areas of speech and theatre. Attention is given to directing forensic and dramatic activities. A field experience is included in the scope of this course. Note: Students taking this course for graduate credit must complete all graduate course requirements. Semester Hours: Three
