MUTH 342 - Jazz Theory

Introduces the language and sounds of jazz through listening, analysis, and compositional exercises. Jazz studies include terminology, chord symbols, chord/scales, and chord progressions. Students will apply the fundamentals of music theory to the study of jazz.
