HSCI 433/533 - Health Disparities Term Offered: Fall Semester Hours: Three This course will explore the concepts of social epidemiology, or the social and cultural circumstances that negatively or positively influence the health of the individual, the community, and the population. Topics will include, but are not limited to, gender, race, socioeconomic status, culture, and religion. Note: Students taking this course for graduate credit must complete all graduate course requirements.
Prerequisite(s): Required prerequisite: HSCI 413/513 . Recommended prerequisite: HSCI 483/583
