ACCT 363 - Accounting Information Systems Semester Hours: Three Accounting Information Systems (AIS) is a course that focuses on the use of information technology to collect, process, store, and communicate accounting data. The course provides an overview of the principles and concepts of AIS and how it supports the accounting function within an organization. Students will learn how to use various software tools, such as accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases, to manage financial data and generate reports. Prerequisite(s): ACCT 213 and BCIS 203
