LIBR 433/533 - Cataloging and Classification
Term Offered: Summer
Semester Hours: Three
The principals and practice of cataloging and classification, together with consideration of the unit card, subject headings, and call numbers. Both book and non-book materials are covered. Cataloging automated systems will be discussed.
Note: Students taking this course for graduate credit must complete all graduate course requirements.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Teacher Education Program or major in English.
