EDCL 200 - Teaching in A Diverse Society Field Experience Semester Hours: Zero Students will apply knowledge addressing social inequalities and stratification as a primary lens for understanding diversity and other forms of difference in schools which they have gained in EDUC 203 Teaching in a Diverse Society by completing a focused field experience in a diverse educational setting. Students must earn a final grade of Credit (CR) for program completion. Term Offered: Fall, Spring
Co-requisites: EDUC 201 Professional Growth and Development I and EDUC 203 Teaching in a Diverse Society and current Family Care Safety Registry background check (see catalog section on Background Checks for Field Experience and Student Teaching for additional information). A lab fee is charged for this field experience. Note: This course is also required for students transferring a course equivalent to EDUC 203 Teaching in a Diverse Society: Seminar and Field Experience which did not include a comparable field experience in diverse settings.
