EDUC 373 - Technology and Instructional Media Semester Hours: Three This course will give students the opportunity to demonstrate the development and use of media and technologically based materials in the classroom, with emphasis on their selection, production, use, and evaluation to meet multiple instructional goals and the needs of diverse learners. Ethical standards and legal issues in the use of technology and media will be explored. Students are expected to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) as well as the ability to use Internet resources. Students with an inadequate background in these areas should complete BCIS 103 Survey of Computing prior to enrolling in this course. For transfer credit to be equated to this course, the transfer course must have been completed within seven (7) years prior to initial registration at Missouri Baptist University. Former MBU students who are readmitting into the University must also have completed EDUC 373 or its equivalent within seven (7) years prior to the first semester of returning registration.
