CBIB 483 - Research in Biblical Studies
Semester Hours: Three
This is the most advanced course in biblical studies, centered on a hands-on, intensive study of a focused passage of the Bible. This course trains students in the research tools and methods to discover the historical, sociological, and textual contexts of the text in focus; the original meaning of this passage in its context; and the application to biblical theology and practical life in the 21st century.
Term Offered: Fall, Even Years
Prerequisites: CBIB 313 or CBIB 323 ; CBIB 333 or CBIB 343 ; and CBLA 313 .
