1 Students interested in pursuing post-graduate education should consult prerequisites for those programs to determine if calculus is required.
2 Physics requirements may also be fulfilled with General Physics I and II, with laboratories (PHYS 211+213 and PHYS 221+223, prerequisites apply). Students interested in pursuing post-graduate education should consult prerequisites for those programs to determine which physics track is appropriate.
3 Hours used to fulfill the concentration electives may not be used to fulfill other requirements.
4 Elective hours for the concentration should be used to ensure satisfaction of the 128-hour and the 45-hour upper-division graduation requirements.
5 Organic chemistry II and laboratory is recommended for students planning to pursue clinical post-graduate education. Students should determine if the second semester of organic chemistry is a prerequisite.
6 Students wishing to use courses not listed to fulfill elective hours for the concentration will need to petition the advisor, program director, and division chair for approval.
