CBIB 213 - Old Testament Theology Semester Hours: Three An exegetically organized study of the Old Testament which concentrates on the hermeneutical movement and development of key concepts and unifying themes from pre-Abrahamic times through the prophets. Emphasis is upon the presentation of these ideas as the Old Testament writers recorded them against the backdrop of their historical, cultural, philosophical, and theological contexts. This course meets part of the baccalaureate degree requirement in Humanities. Term Offered: Spring
