ITBU 343 - Network Security Semester Hours: Three This course will include network security principles for securing organization infrastructure(s). Students will learn device and media security, security topologies, intrusion detection, cryptography, and general security baselines. Topics covered include: firewalls; instruction detection systems (IDS); proxies; intrusion preventions systems (IPS); network monitoring; DMZ’s; NAT; encryption systems; and other related topics.
