BCHM 433 - Pharmacology Term Offered: Fall, Odd Years This course will cover basic principles of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics (e.g. drug action, agonists and antagonists, receptor theories, dose response relationships, drug absorption, distribution, metabolism and elimination). Additionally, select commonly used drugs (over the counter, prescribed and natural products) will be discussed. Semester Hours: Three
Prerequisite(s): BIOL 213 /BIOL 211 , BIOL 223 /BIOL 221 , and CHEM 310 /CHEM 312 /CHEM 313
Recommended Prerequisites: BIOL 363 or with faculty approval.
