ENGL 243 - Introduction to British and American Literature (MOTR LITR 100) Term Offered: On Demand This course introduces students to the principles and problems of literary interpretation. Students will read and analyze poetry, drama, short fiction, and the novel. The course will draw its content from British and American texts that represent these genres. Students will learn to take genre and culture into account as they practice literary analysis in class discussion and through informal and formal writing assignments. Semester Hours: Three
Prerequisite(s): ENGL 123 , or consent of instructor.
