EDCL 4700 - CPL Student Teaching MEES Evaluation Term Offered: Fall, Spring This course is required for students pursuing credit for the full 16 weeks of student teaching through the portfolio credit for prior learning (CPL) process. Enrollment in this zero-credit course must be concurrent with EDUC 470 in order to ensure adequate supervision and assessment of the candidate by School of Education faculty. Students must earn a final grade of Credit (CR) for program completion. Note: There is a special fee charged for this course. Semester Hours: Zero
Corequisite(s): EDUC 470 and EDTR 413/513 Required Assessments: 1. passing the Professional Development Folio (semester prior to student teaching); 2. passing the required Missouri Content Assessment(s) (MoCA) for each area of certification for which recommendation is sought; and 3. achieving a composite score of 42 on the Missouri Educator Evaluation System (MEES) summative evaluation (completed during student teaching) for teacher candidates.
