MATH 133 - College Algebra (MOTR MATH 130)


Term Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
This course is a detailed study of functions and their graphs. Graphing calculators are used extensively. Topics covered include linear and quadratic equations, inequalities, polynomial and rational functions, exponential and logarithmic equations, and systems of equations. 
Semester Hours: Three

Prerequisite(s): High school plane geometry and two years of high school algebra completed with a grade of C or better, MATH 113  completed with a grade of C or better, a satisfactory score on a mathematics placement test, or consent of instructor.
