BIOL 371N - Essentials of Microbiology Laboratory

This is a companion laboratory course to BIOL 273. Students will develop quantitative reasoning alongside learning to master sterile technique and safe laboratory practices. The focus of the course is on techniques used to culture and identify bacteria, methods and chemicals used to control them, as well as specimen handling. Intended for students not majoring in the biological sciences.
