PSYC 553 - Advanced Human Development Semester Hours: Three This advanced course in human development will include an overview of the human life span from conception through death and theories of personality. Emphasis will be placed on normal development during childhood and adolescence. Issues involving physical changes, cognitive capabilities, psychological factors, and the social context of development will be discussed. This course cannot be taken as a directed study or credit for prior learning portfolio. Students seeking counselor licensure may not take this as a web-based course.
