Missouri Baptist University offers a minor in Sociology (SOCO) that will allow students to explore the social and ethical issues affecting society. Courses are also offered as a part of general education, degree requirements, and/or in support of various majors.
Students may not pursue a double minor in Behavioral Science and Sociology.
The student must complete 18 hours of Sociology courses as follows:

12 hours, with 6 upper division, in Sociology (CRPS, PSSC, SOCO or SOHI) courses or CRPS 413 .
Note(s)
- At least three hours of minor must be earned at Missouri Baptist University.
- A grade of D is not acceptable in courses taken to fulfill the requirements for a minor.
- If a substitution has been made, attach a copy of the signed approval and indicate the course number and title following the catalog requirement. Please include the date of the substitution.
