The Certificate in Editing and Publishing program aims to help students obtain knowledge and skills related to editing and publishing whose process involves proofreading, editing, design and typesetting, working with vendors, printing, marketing, and publicity. As part of the program requirements, students will serve on the editorial staff for one of the Missouri Baptist University periodicals, such as MBU Magazine, Intégrité, Faith and Research Conference Proceedings, Cantos, Fireflies’ Light, The Right Words, and FLASH! This certificate, which is available to all students, is not a teaching certificate in English and does not fulfill the requirements for state teacher certification.
