Mission Statement: The Academic Program of Missouri Baptist University is designed to offer programs of study leading to professional certificates and undergraduate and graduate degrees in an environment of academic excellence with a Biblically-based Christian perspective. The academic program seeks to motivate students to a life of service and knowledge integrating Christian faith and discipline.
Missouri Baptist University grants baccalaureate degrees and offers general education, degree requirements, majors, minors, and cognate areas within five divisions and two schools as well as Interdisciplinary Studies. The University grants the Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology, Associate of Arts in General Studies, Associate of Science degree with concentrations in Pre-Nursing, Christian Ministry, and Business Administration, and offers courses leading to undergraduate certificates in Accounting, Business, Faith and Learning Healthcare Management, Information Technology, Management, Marketing, Ministry and Leadership, Writing, and graduate certificates in Educational Technology, Exercise Science, Fitness Management, Library Media Specialist, Play Therapy, School Psychological Examiner, Sport Management, Sport Marketing, and Teaching Online. Missouri Baptist University is approved by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for teacher certification in early childhood, elementary, middle childhood, secondary education, and K-12 education in various subject fields at both undergraduate and graduate levels, and counselor and administrative certifications at the graduate level only.
Interdisciplinary Studies provides orientation courses for freshmen and transfer students, the capstone requirement for all baccalaureate degree programs, and offers a major in Liberal Arts.
The School of Business provides curricula in general education, degree requirements, majors, minors, certificates, and cognate areas in the fields of Accounting, Applied Management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, Management, Marketing, Economics, and Entrepreneurship. The Master of Business Administration degree is offered at the graduate level.
The School of Education provides curricula that pertain directly to the development of professional educators both in private and public education and is responsible for the Missouri approved teacher certification program. Undergraduate majors in this school include Biology Education, Business Education, Chemistry Education, Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Special Education, Elementary Education, Health Education, K-12 Education, Marketing Education, Middle Childhood Education, Physical Education, Special Education Cross-Categorical Disabilities Mild/Moderate, and Studies in Teaching and Learning. A minor is offered in Physical Education. Students desiring certification on the secondary or K-12 level must have a primary major in a subject field and complete the professional education courses. Those completing certification at the undergraduate level may opt for a double major in Secondary Education or K-12 Education. This provides a broad competency within the teaching discipline. Other certification areas offered include Library Media Specialist (graduate level only), Driver Education, and Special Reading (graduate level only). Graduate programs include: the Master of Arts degree in School Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling; Master of Arts in Teaching (with initial certification or for additional certification); Master of Educational Administration; Master of Science in Education: Curriculum and Instruction; Master of Educational Technology; Master of Higher Education Leadership; the Educational Specialist with two tracks: Superintendent or Curriculum and Instruction; and the Doctor of Education degree in Leadership in Teaching and Learning or Higher Education Leadership.
The Fine Arts Division offers curricula for general education and degree requirements in Art, Communications, Music, Music Education, Music Performance, Musical Theatre, Theatre, Worship Arts Technology, and Worship Leadership. Undergraduate majors include Broadcast Media, Communication Studies, Journalism, Music, Music Education, Music Performance, Music with Elective Studies in Business, Musical Theatre, Public Relations, Speech/Theatre, Theatre, Worship Arts Technology, and Worship Leadership. Minor studies available include Broadcast Media, Communication Studies, Dance, Journalism, Sports Journalism, Music, Public Relations, Stage Management, Theatre, Worship Leadership, and Worship Studies.
The Health and Sport Sciences Division provides curricula in degree requirements, majors, minors, and cognate areas in the fields of Exercise Science, Fitness Management, Health Sciences, Public Health, and Sport Management. Students interested in graduate studies may pursue the Graduate Certificate in Exercise Science, Graduate Certificate in Fitness Management, Graduate Certificate in Sport Management, Graduate Certificate in Sport Marketing, or the Master of Science in Sport Management or Master of Science in Fitness Management.
The Humanities Division provides curricula in general education, degree requirements, majors, minors, certificates, and cognate areas in the fields of Apologetic Studies, Biblical Counseling, Biblical Languages (Greek and Hebrew), Biblical Studies, Christian Ministry, Church Planting, English, Faith and Learning, Ministry and Leadership, Missions, Pastoral Studies, Spanish, and Youth. The Writing Certificate in English, Certificate in Ministry and Leadership, and the Associate of Science in Christian Ministry are a part of the division’s offerings. The Master of Arts in Christian Ministry degree is available with emphasis areas in Apologetic Studies, Biblical Counseling, Biblical Languages, Pastoral Ministries, and Urban Ministries.
The Natural Sciences Division provides curricula in general education, degree requirements, majors, minors, and cognate areas in the fields of Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemistry with a Concentration in Forensic Science, Geoscience, Mathematics, Physics, Plant Biology and Pre-Nursing. The Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology is offered through a partnership with Mercy St. Louis School of Radiologic Technology.
The Social and Behavioral Sciences Division provides curricula in general education, degree requirements, majors, minors, and cognate areas in the fields of Behavioral Sciences, Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, History, Human Services, Political Science, Psychology, Social Sciences, and Sociology. Graduate programs include: Master of Corporate Security Leadership online, Master of Science in Criminal Justice online, and Master of Social Work.
The MBU Online Program offers a number of degree options that are specifically designed to provide maximum flexibility with top-quality academics. These programs serve both traditional and non-traditional degree seekers of any age and stage of life. These options include the Associate of Science degree with concentrations in Business Administration, and Pre-Nursing, online Bachelor of Professional Studies (BPS) degree with majors in Applied Management, Criminal Justice, General Studies, Healthcare Management, Liberal Arts, Ministry and Leadership, and Organizational Leadership. Specialized Academic Programs
Missouri Baptist University has developed several specialized academic programs which allow students to earn degrees or credits in a modified program format. These programs include opportunities for learning at off-campus sites, adult learning experiences, and cooperative programs with other institutions.
The Individualized Major
An undergraduate student may, under the tutelage of an advisor, develop a curriculum for a major suited to the student’s interest. This curriculum must be in writing, submitted, and approved by the chair or dean of the appropriate division or school and the Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs. The individualized major gives the student the opportunity to utilize the resources of the University to their fullest in developing an academic skill in a field for which the University may not have a specialized department. An individualized major can be granted only if the University offers at least half the credit hours needed for the major.
The Individualized Minor

An individualized minor can be granted only in those cases in which the University offers at least half the credit hours (a minimum of nine hours) needed for the minor.
Directed Study
Qualified undergraduate students are permitted to engage in directed study under faculty supervision. Under this arrangement, students are enabled to explore a subject in depth, or to examine new areas of study, beyond the opportunity afforded by the university’s curriculum. Under certain circumstances, catalog courses may be offered on a directed study basis.
Directed Study forms are available in the Records Office and all approvals must be obtained prior to registration. The student and faculty are expected to present the following items: reason for the directed study request, objectives, description of the study, procedure to be followed, methods of evaluation, and anticipated resources.
The course numbers 190-199, 290-299, 390-399, and 490-499 are reserved for directed study or experimental courses. The appropriate prefix is used to indicate the discipline. The first digit indicates the level of the course, and the final digit indicates the amount of credit the course carries.
Not more than one fourth (25%) of the coursework in a student’s major, minor, or total undergraduate degree program (major, minor, general education, and degree requirements) may be completed by directed study. Courses which by their nature involve individualized instruction are excluded from this limit: research classes not offered on a scheduled basis, including BIOL 481-486 and CHEM 481-486 ; readings courses, such as CRJS 443 ; private music instruction; and all internships, practica, and field experiences. Exemptions may be granted for upperclassmen (juniors and seniors) when required courses are cancelled due to low enrollment. If a course required under a student’s catalog is no longer available due to subsequent curricular changes, and no course substitution can reasonably be made, then a directed study for the course in question will also be exempt from the limit. Students should consider using the consortium before requesting directed studies.

B.S. to Doctor of Physical Therapy
Introduction
Given the similarity of missions and values, Southwest Baptist University and Missouri Baptist University have established an articulation agreement in order to facilitate the admission process for MBU graduates into the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at SBU. MBU students who complete the following courses will meet prerequisite requirements for the DPT program at SBU and will receive preference points in the selection of candidates. The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at SBU starts each Fall and is completed in 33 months. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis starting in September of each year.
Applicants for the physical therapy program at SBU are required to have English composition and demonstrate computer competency. This agreement assumes that Missouri Baptist University will continue to have these same requirements for graduation.
Agreement
A student who completes a baccalaureate degree in any major at Missouri Baptist University and the requirements for admission to the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Southwest Baptist University as listed below will automatically receive preference points and be eligible for the admission process.
- Students must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade point average.
- Students must complete the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).
- Students must complete the PT application through PTCAS by the deadline of the intended enrollment date.
- Students must document up to 40 hours of experience/observation in physical therapy.
- International students must meet eligibility requirements as outlined in the section on Admission to the University in the Southwest Baptist University catalog.
- Students must complete all of the following prerequisite courses with a minimum of a “C” and a 3.25 prerequisite GPA. Prerequisites should not be taken pass/fail.
- Applicants for Fall 2021 or earlier: two courses from a psychology department (1.PSYC 133 General Psychology (MOTR PSYC 100) , 2. PSYC 313 Human Growth and Development (MOTR PSYC 200) OR PSYC 323 Abnormal Psychology )
- Applicants for Fall 2022 or later: three courses from a psychology department (1.PSYC 133 General Psychology (MOTR PSYC 100) , 2. PSYC 313 Human Growth and Development (MOTR PSYC 200) , 3. PSYC 323 Abnormal Psychology )
- Completion of the following support courses (not calculated into prerequisite GPA):
- Medical Terminology - HSCI 343 Medical Terminology : one semester is required at a “B” grade or higher
- Exercise Physiology - EXSC 313 Exercise Physiology I : not required, but highly recommended; students demonstrating successful completion of an exercise physiology course with a “B” grade or higher will be exempt from completing the exercise physiology component of the DPT program
- Pathophysiology - BIOL 363 Pathophysiology : not required, but highly recommended
Two-Plus-Two Degree in Engineering Missouri University of Science and Technology
Missouri Baptist University and Missouri University of Science and Technology have an articulation agreement for a two-plus-two program in engineering. If a student completes a prescribed curriculum for a selected field of engineering and maintains a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, Missouri University of Science and Technology will accept the individual into the selected engineering program. Upon successful completion of the remaining coursework at Missouri University of Science and Technology, the individual will be awarded a degree. There are no degrees conferred by Missouri Baptist University. For details, contact the Missouri Baptist University Admissions Office.
Two-Plus-Two Degree in Nursing
Missouri Baptist University and the Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College have teamed to offer a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Through this agreement, two years of study in the Associate of Science degree in Pre-Nursing program will be completed at MBU and the final two years of clinical studies will be completed at Barnes. An articulation agreement between MBU and Barnes was signed in March 2010.
The MBU Associate of Science degree in Pre-Nursing is a 64-69 hour program, and 55 of those hours are fully transferable to Barnes. Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average at MBU to gain admissions to Goldfarb School of Nursing.
A.A.S. In Radiologic Technology
Missouri Baptist University and Mercy Hospital St. Louis School of Radiologic Technology offer an articulated Associate of Applied Science degree in Radiologic Technology. Students accepted into the Mercy Hospital St. Louis School of Radiologic Technology will complete their general education curriculum at Missouri Baptist University. Upon Completion of the program curriculum at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, credits will be transferred from the School of Radiologic Technology to Missouri Baptist University to complete the Associate of Applied Scinece degree requirements.
Missouri Baptist University and Logan University: 3+3 Articulation
Students interested in completing the Doctor of Chiropractic Degree can do so under the articulated program between institutions.
Students will matriculate at MBU with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science degree with a minimum of 90 credit hours in coursework at MBU and a minimum of 30 credit hours in coursework at Logan.
For every subject required by Logan (either offered by MBU or Logan), no grade below a 2.0 on a 4.0 scale will be accepted for credit in this articulated program. In addition, all 3+3 Program students must have earned a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75 for the 90 credit hours at MBU to be considered for admission to Logan.

Student are admitted to Logan only as first year Doctor of Chiropractic students. Upon completion of the required coursework, 30 credit hours form Logan may be transferred toward completion of the baccalaureate degree at MBU. In order to matriculate at MBU, an official transcript must be sent from Logan to a designated official within MBU, and the student must request and complete application materials for graduation. Alternative courses may be considered for degree completion credit at the discretion of MBU. Admission procedures and G.P.A. requirements exist for graduation and continuation in the programs at both institutions.
Intercollege Consortium
Missouri Baptist University participates in a consortium which includes Fontbonne, Lindenwood, Maryville, and Webster Universities. Undergraduate students at any of these institutions, registered for at least twelve hours at their home campus, may take courses at any of the other schools in the consortium by registering for them on their home campus. This arrangement makes a wider variety of classes available to the students of all the colleges. Some restrictions apply. Army Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC)
Army ROTC (Reserve Officers’ Training Corps) is a program which combines college courses in military science with summer training sessions to turn students into officers. Upon successful completion of the program and graduation, cadets are awarded a commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army, the Army National Guard, or the U.S. Army Reserve.
Army ROTC offers two different programs to all qualified college and university students. The traditional four-year program gives students the opportunity to take ROTC courses in each of their four years of college. The two-year program is available for community and junior college students as well as any other students who did not take ROTC during the first two years of college. Both of these programs are offered at more than 1,000 colleges and universities throughout the United States. Washington University is the host institution in the St. Louis area. Students from Missouri Baptist University may enroll in Military Science courses through a cross-enrollment agreement with Washington University. Enrollment for all other courses is at Missouri Baptist University. Course descriptions for the Military Science courses are listed in this catalog under MLS.
Washington University in St. Louis: North Campus – located at 700 Rosedale Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63112 – is the home of the Gateway Battalion. North Campus contains the Battalion Headquarters, Headquarters Annex, and the Range Room. Battalion Headquarters houses the classrooms where military sciences are instructed, cadre and staff offices, equipment room, and cadet lounge. Headquarters Annex is an open space next to headquarters. It is used for the annual open house and is sometimes used as a meeting place for leadership labs. The Range Room is located in the rear of North Campus. Its large space is utilized when an alternative to outdoor PT or labs is optimal. The range room contains an air rifle range where rifle competitions are held.

Plus Two Programs
Missouri Baptist University has established Plus Two Programs with Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Missouri, Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois, Rend Lake College in Ina, Illinois, and Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg, Illinois, which allows students to complete all requirements for graduation on the host college campus.

Regional Learning Centers
Missouri Baptist University offers courses at several Regional Learning Centers (RLC) in Missouri and Illinois as a means of taking the educational programs to the student. Current sites in Missouri include MBU-Troy/Wentzville located in Lincoln County, MBU at Jefferson College on the Hillsboro campus of Jefferson College and MBU in Arnold located in Jefferson County, MBU-Franklin County located in Union, and MBU in Farmington located in St. Francois County. In Illinois, there are Plus-Two programs on the campuses of Lewis and Clark Community College in Godfrey, Rend Lake College in Ina, and Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg. Courses are also offered at the Williamson Baptist Association in Marion, Illinois. See the locations section of this catalog for additional information including addresses for each RLC.
Academic advisement for undergraduate students at the RLCs is directed by the dean or coordinator of each center. All registration materials, including advisement worksheets and schedule adjustment forms, must be signed by RLC personnel before they can be processed. Students should refer to the Term Calendars published in this catalog and available on myMBU Access for registration dates, deadlines for adding or dropping classes, etc. Tuition refunds in case of withdrawal are pro-rated from the withdrawal date and must be approved by RLC personnel. Students should refer to the catalog sections on Student Course Load, Dropping and Adding a Course, Registration, University Fees, Enrollment, Registration Information, Status Changes, and Refund Schedules for specific information.
Main campus undergraduate students may register at RLCs with the approval of their advisor, and are encouraged to discuss offcampus enrollment costs with the Financial Services Office. All off-campus regulations, financial obligations, and transportation arrangements are the responsibility of the student. Combined credit load for on- and off-campus classes may not exceed eighteen credit hours during a semester or semester equivalent. Web-enhanced courses – A web-enhanced course uses online technology and tools to support traditional classroom-based instruction, supply course material (e.g. resources, lecture notes, assessments), and facilitate faculty-to-student and student-to-student communication (through email and discussion boards).
Web-centric courses – The center of instruction shifts from the classroom to the Internet in a web-centric class. A web-centric course makes significant use of the Internet to facilitate and support self-paced, self-directed learning activities (online content, exercises, and assessments). This type of course has few classroom-based lectures or seminars. MDL/WDL courses with a type of HYB (Hybrid) indicate courses offered in a combined classroom and online format.
Online courses – An online course at Missouri Baptist University can be accessed through the Internet from any location at any time. All instructional strategies are planned and executed around the communication capabilities and content resources available on the Internet in any given online class offering. Online courses at MBU will not require any “face-to-face” meetings. Online communication requirements are flexible and generally asynchronous. Times and places for online interaction and communication in MBU online classes will be determined by the individual faculty member. The University offers online courses in various disciplines. Students pursuing the Master of Arts in Christian Ministry, Master of Science in Education: Curriculum and Instruction, Master of Science in Fitness Management, and Master of Science in Sport Management degrees will have the option of completing the program online or through a hybrid approach that blends both online and classroom instruction. The Master of Arts in Teaching may be completed online, through a hybrid approach that blends both online and classroom instruction, or face-to-face. The Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts in Counseling degrees are available either as online or traditional (face-to-face) programs.

CORE 42 - Missouri Department of Higher Education General Education Curriculum
CORE 42 is a statewide transferable general education curriculum intended to guarantee the courses be applied to general education requirements between Missouri public institution, as well as signatory private institutions. As part of the CORE 42 statewide initiative, Missouri Baptist University became, one of four private institutions, signatory with Missouri Department of Higher Education. The CORE 42 curriculum provides a pathway for students to guarantee course credit and reduce the need to retake courses they have already completed at another school. This initiative helps students earn a degree in less time and without additional cost.
For academic year 2018-2019 and forward, Missouri Baptist University accepts all CORE 42 courses as equivalences to meet general education requirements toward degree requirements. Public institutions and signatory private institutions honor the equivalences of general education courses. For approved MOTR courses at other Missouri public colleges and university go to: Missouri Department of Higher Education CORE.

MBU Early College Partnerships
MBU Early College Partnerships (MBU ECP), formerly known as “EXCEL,” was established in 1983 at Missouri Baptist University. MBU ECP is a program that allows high school students to earn university credit. Its primary mission is to offer qualified high school students the opportunity to enroll in challenging courses normally taken by MBU students during their freshman and sophomore years of college.
EXCEL Dual Credit (concurrent enrollment) program provided by Missouri Baptist University, is a unique opportunity for students in honors and college-bound programs to take college courses in the high school setting, giving many students an early start on a college career. Established in 1983, the program maintains a high degree of recognition, acceptability, and credibility, and is fully accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP).
The MBU ECP office also administers a program titled MBU Achieve, a credit-by-exam model offered in a limited number of high schools to students enrolled in MATH 133 College Algebra, MATH 155 Precalculus, or MATH 164 Calculus. Other offerings include the lecture and lab courses for introductory chemistry and general chemistry. Academic oversight is provided by the Division of Natural Sciences chair and other faculty members who create and grade the exams and assign a grade for registered students. Exams are monitored by a faculty member from the division or school, an MBU ECP staff member, or teachers from the school district.
The third program administered by the MBU ECP office is a dual enrollment model in which courses are taught by university instructors. Classroom space is provided by the high school so students need not travel to the university campus. Courses are offered in a variety of disciplines.
Missouri Baptist University considers all grades earned through MBU ECP as university grades. All earned grades will appear on the student’s transcript and will become part of the student’s undergraduate GPA if the student enrolls as a full-time student at Missouri Baptist University. Students planning to attend other colleges or universities should note that most institutions do not accept transfer courses in which students have earned grades lower than a “C.”
Courses officially dropped, using a completed, signed, and submitted schedule adjustment form from the MBU ECP Office, on or before the census date, will not appear on the student’s transcript. Students who registered and paid fees before the census date will be eligible for a refund. Courses officially dropped after the census, but before 80% of the course has been completed, will appear on the transcript with the grade of W, indicating that the student withdrew without grade point penalty. Students dropping a course after the census date will not be eligible for a refund. Courses dropped after 80% of the course has been completed will appear on the transcript with a WF; no refund will be available.
High School Dual Enrollment Program
Homeschool, public and private high school students have the opportunity to gain college credit through the dual enrollment program at MBU. This program enables students to earn college credit for general education courses as they complete requirements for their high school diploma.
Student must be a sophomore standing and at least 15 years of age. To register for classes, students must fill out an online application to MBU, send in transcripts and official ACT/SAT scores if desiring to enroll in English or math courses.
Enrollment is limited to two courses at the 100- or 200-level per semester. Students are allowed 1 online course per semester within the accepted courses. The load limit is normally six (6) hours but may be up to nine (9) hours if laboratory science classes are included.
Study Abroad
All MBU students are encouraged to participate in study abroad programs. Various programs are available for traditional fall or spring semesters as well as unique summer opportunities. E-mail the Director of Study Abroad today to enroll. (Students who “direct” enroll may not receive credit.)
The purpose of the Study Abroad program at Missouri Baptist University is to provide resources and programs for undergraduate students to experience a broad range of international and intercultural views. The curriculum design utilizes cross-cultural experiences enabling students to test, explore and formulate a personal and more realistic view of their global society. Through a consortium agreement with Webster University our students have access to any of their international campuses in addition to other programs that may be unique to our campus. All students take part in homestay experiences, which are described as unforgettable. Along with trips throughout Uganda, venture on an eye-opening 10-day excursion to Rwanda. UCU has over 6,000 students and Uganda’s renowned hospitality will help you form deep connections within the local community. USP offers a wide range of options and flexibility to ensure that students get the most out of their experience. Applicants to USP may apply to live either on-campus or with a host family for the semester. USP also offers a Social Work Emphasis (SWE) which includes a junior or senior level practicum experience. Hong Kong Baptist University is centrally located on the Kowloon side of Hong Kong. While it still retains the name “Baptist” HKBU is currently owned by the Chinese government. Academic programs are organized in a way that is very similar to North American colleges and universities and classes are taught in English. Their programs are tailor-made and highly structured, placing emphasis on coherence, progression, and integration within a three- year time span. The education system in Hong Kong at present provides for 13 years of schooling: 6 years at primary school, 5 years at secondary school, and 2 years of matriculation. HKBU’s undergraduate degree programs follow a British pattern of three years duration. It is due to this variance that American students are required to complete one full year of study at their home institution. Our sophomore year is generally aligned with their freshman year. In addition, students must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. It is preferred that students be a Junior or Senior in order to participate in this program.

The SSO is designed for students interested in the fields of Classics, English & Literature, Theology & Religious Studies, Philosophy, and History, though all majors may apply. Applicants are generally honors and other very high-achieving students and must have a minimum GPA of 3.7 and be a second semester sophomore or higher.

The Oxford Summer Program (OSP) is a program of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities and Wycliffe Hall, Oxford. The program is designed for students wishing to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the relationship between Christianity and the development of the West and who wish to do specialized work under expert Oxford academics in the areas of History, Religious Studies, Political Theory, Philosophy, English, and History of Science. The Program is structured for rising college sophomores, juniors, and seniors, graduate and seminary students, non-traditional students, teachers, and those enrolled in continuing education programs.

The Contemporary Music Center (CMC) offers you a front-row ticket to the music industry. Learn all of Nashville’s ins and outs as you visit a publishing house, a modern recording studio and sound stage. Meet with a working songwriter, producer, engineer and music arranger to get a taste of the working life in this musical metropolis. Put it all together at the Hardscuffle Building, where world-class equiptment waits for your God-given talents.
CMC has been adapting to this constantly changing business, because music is a blend of the old and the new. Believe us, you’ll be doing nothing but blending music, personalities and the occasional throat-soothing smoothie for the next four months. Your days begin with morning classes followed by composing, performing, mixing and promoting until you put your inspired soul to sleep. After 10 weeks of solid creativity, you’re out on tour, living the experience and savoring every note.
At L.A. Film Studies Center, we develop every aspect of our storytellers. In our facilities, you’ll write and develop, schedule and budget, shoot and edit, all on state-of-the-art equiptment, software, and sets, guided by faculty who are working professionals and highly-regarded experts in their fields.
