Undergraduate degree-seeking students must meet all assessment requirements for certification before degrees will be conferred for professional education programs, including the following: 1) passing the Professional Development Folio (semester prior to student teaching); 2) passing score on the required content assessment(s) for each area of certification for which recommendation is sought; and 3) achieving a composite score of 42 or better on the Missouri Educator Evaluation System (MEES) summative evaluation (completed during student teaching) for teacher candidates.

A 2.500 cumulative grade point average and 3.000 GPA in the major and in professional education, field and clinical experiences are required for graduation.
